Once you’re done, do a quick dry mopping over the floor to pick up anything that might have been left behind and you’ll be good to go!

Throughout my own house, I have hard floor surfaces all over the place. Just about every floor in the entire house is either hardwood or tile, which is a look that I love. Growing up I had carpet in pretty much every room of my house and saw early on the disadvantages of this method, and saw how elegant and nice homes who had a lot of nice hardwood floors looked. I kept the same opinion as I grew up, and nowadays my home looks just how I like it.

Where Your Steam Mop Will Find Its Most Use

Steam mopping kitchens – This is a given of course, and probably the most likely location that you’ll use your best steam mop most often. Just about every home out there, my own included, the kitchen is in a central location of the house where the rest of the house seems to be built around. Attached garages – This may or may not apply to you, but I personally have an attached garage on my home. We use the attached garage to store a number of things, but it’s also large enough to have a fridge and plenty of room for socializing. Since we don’t smoke inside the house itself, we usually just smoke out in the attached garage. In the winter it gets a little chilly, but it’s a great spot. Anyway, in order to keep this location clean, the smooth hard surface is really easy to steam mop. I don’t do it often, but a quick sweep and steam mopping will prevent the floor from getting to dirty to handle.
